The last few weeks have been rather emotional.
Finishing my jobs, seeing loved ones to say ciao for now has all taken it’s toll on me mentally and physically (although I think the physically part is mainly due to a wedding hangover from the weekend!).
Realising that I won’t see my family and best friends for a little while is kinda sad; from those who I speak to and see on a regular basis, to my nephews who are going to grow up so much! Waaahhhhh…
Still, all for the greater good* isn’t it.
But, to add to the stresses and strains, our trip has been delayed a few days due to having to have a hospital appointment, which luckily I managed to rearrange as it was originally in a few weeks! Thought I might have to fly back but the lovely nurses and staff at Salisbury District Hospital have managed to fit me in, albeit a few days after we were supposed to leave.
However, changing the Euro Tunnel tickets turned out to be the easiest travel change to make and we have already booked our first camp site in Belgium! Hurrah!
